Is he worth the 2nd overall pick ?
rubisky has been a starter all of one year. Deshaun Watson has a much better resume. If we don't draft this kid we just have no hope. Watson is the real deal. He took lumps this year by making himself a real pocket passer. Made mistakes an learned. Heck Peyton Manning threw a lot of ints in college. I was surprised that Watson really disciplined himself in the locker this year. He could have easily stayed the same an been a running QB. Watson all the way

All these Qb's scare me, Trubisky is probably the only safe pick at #2 of the Qb's.

Don't all quarterbacks have question marks?
Trade for Garappolo and draft the best WR

Unless we're willing to get bent over and massively shortchanged(which is f**king moronic), were never get adequate compensation for the #2 overall pick unless it's for a QB.

Not true. Just because it hasn't happened often doesn't mean its because teams wouldn't get adequate compensation. The reason more teams don't trade up for a defensive player is because the team with the pick doesn't want to make the trade. The reason QB trades happen is because you can only start and play one QB at time. Defensive players are also seen as more "safe" picks then QBs. If we only had AA or Buckner on the DL then it would be a no brainer pick. I cant remember the last team to be set at both DE positions & drafting in the top 2 were the clear cut BPA player is a DE. I also remember Atlanta trading picks 27th, 59th, and 124th from the 2011 draft, and their first and fourth round picks from the 2012 draft to move from 27th to 6th to take Julio Jones. So big non QB trades have happened.
If Garret is gone, and team doesn't feel strongly about any QB I would make small moves down round one to get more picks for the future and/or just draft bpa defense.
Foster. NO QB is worth that #2 pick
Mitch is the Pick, while i think he's not worth a #2, but he's not going to make it out of the first round

The Right QBs can turn franchises around

Foster won't be in the top 10. Very good but #2? Not happening

Says no QB is worth the #2 pick and suggests Foster. Lmao

Nobody is giving up that type of haul for an interior defensive linemen. A team would have to mortgage their future to get our pick. It's not happening.

Allen is not 1B. He may be the 2nd best player in the draft, but he's nowhere near Garrett given the position he plays. There is no 1B in the class - it's Myles Garrett and then everyone else.

Allen might not even be a top 5 pick when all is said and done. He is getting Aaron Donald hype but he isnt the same class of player.

Foster is not Patrick Willis or Luke Kuechly. Talented ILB but once again playing on a stacked defense, especially with that DL meant he could come clean on a lot of plays. He wouldnt necessarily have that luxury in the NFL.

I would put him in the David Harris category of ILBs. Pretty good player, likely a long time NFL starter but not a true gamechanger.
