The Browns draft Myles Garrett, who should the 49ers take?

They gotta take their home town kid. Take your version of LeBron James lite in terms of your hometown savior,Cleveland;

THIS ONE'S FOR YOU! LOLZ.
The number one pick should end up being Trubisky, or Watson, or Kizer, or Kaaya. Some QB is going to elevate himself into that spot. The only question is whether the Browns will own that pick when the card reaches the stage.

The Niners should end up being the frontrunners for Garrett, but they have to resolve their QB situation, and that might mean selecting a QB with the 2nd overall, even if he does not grade as high as Garrett. Without a QB, this team is going nowhere.

I agree with what you're saying but you can win with a mediocre or above average QB. We seen it in 2011. Build the front 7.

You can win for a year or two but you quickly fall apart without that QB. Look at Denver right now. If you're trying to win without a quality QB, you're basically praying for lightning to strike one year and for everything to line up in your favor.

I'm a Watson fan, and I personally would like it if we drafted him at 2 if Tribisky was gone, but this board would go crazy if we picked him with Garrett still available. However, you are right, we need a QB in the worst way but Garrett might be to hard to pass on.

Texas A&M's Myles Garrett had 46 total pressure rushing from the right side, the third-most among 4-3 defensive ends.

All eyes were on Garrett coming into the season and he did not disappoint as he solidified his position as a top five pick in the upcoming NFL draft. The Texas A&M defensive end recorded 45 total pressures for the third consecutive season and actually finished his best year as a run defender as he had a career-low three missed tackles in 2016. Overall, Garrett racked up 9 sacks, 14 quarterback hits and 27 quarterback hurries.

Brockweiler left like a dog,lynch was nowhere near ready and though Trevor hasn't been bad it wasn't enough. CJ Anderson went down and I believe their OL has been shaky. That's on Elway if you ask me.

Kap woulda won more games,he bet and lost. It's okay though.

Played hurt all year and was double teamed, but he still put up those numbers. Unless there are long-term concerns about his injury history, he's going #1.
