However, I'd prefer Raekwon if he's there than Peterman

Can you explain why you prefer Williams over Davis? Are you a proponent of no separation, terrible route running and mediocre athleticism?

1. Injury
2. I've seen Williams succeed against much better competition consistently--Owned the best defense in the country and was productive against Ohio St's secondary as well, Davis was my #1 until the CFB playoffs.
3. Williams isn't as slow as what people thought he was going to be

You act like I'm the only person who likes Williams more. My biggest reason is #1.. I'm sick of drafting injured guys. If Corey Davis was healthy, I'd more than likely rank him #1..
I hope he does a personal workout before the draft, then I'll be sold.
Injury concerns are understandable, but Mike Williams had injury concerns of his own. FFS, the dude broke his freaken neck.

yes, but he played in all of the team's recent games, and has worked out since. If that had happened this year, he wouldn't be on my board at all lol

Injury? Didn't Williams miss all of last yr? I don't think Cory Davis missed a game as a starter? Williams isn't half the route runner as Davis and Williams is a better jump ball catcher. Sure competition comes into it, but so does the guy throwing him the ball I'll add Davis had 10 catches 154 yards and 1 TD vs Michigan St (top 10 D) He also put up solid numbers vs Wisconsin 6 rec 80 yards TD.

I'd be happy with either, but I give the edge to Davis.

yeah, but that was last year.. he played all of this year. agree and agree. yes it does, but I don't think Watson would've been half the player he was without his WR, Dabo, and a nice run game, he did miss some easy throws at his Pro Day.. Davis definitely good, but I never saw him own Alabama like Williams did, and he's coming off of a recent injury.

I'd be happy with either also, but I give the edge to Williams. Agree to disagree, it's as simple as that.

Watson had a better statistical yr without Williams 8 catches for 94 yards and a TD isn't "owning" them IMO. Davis' injury didn't effect his season at all...he had 97 catches 1,500 yards and 19 TDs.

it's cool I just think Davis is more pro-ready then Williams..it would be nice to grab either but I don't see that happening
sweet baby Jesus if this happened

Western Michigan WR Corey Davis fell out of the first round in Peter Schrager's latest mock draft.

It is noteworthy, as two other receivers went in the first round (Mike Williams and John Ross) with the second at pick No. 32. Davis went off the board at No. 34 to the 49ers, and we think that would be a steal. Davis is our top ranked receiver in the draft, but he is working back from a minor procedure on his ankle and might not be able to workout for teams in the NFL. Davis is dominant after the catch.

I'd actually be a little disappointed if this happened. IMO if Davis gets anywhere near #34 we should trade up for him. It would show me that Lynch had done his homework, would be prepared to take a calculated risk to get a difference maker, and understands the benefit of getting the 5th year option.

Hey I'm cool If we end up with Davis as our 2nd pick regardless

agreed I was calling him a T.O type of player earlier this yr...I like him more than any other WR in this draft, it would be a crime if he dropped to us at 34

But did he win an Olympic gold medal?
