Just like Cook the RB. They have that legit speed with pads on.

I wish he wasn't hurt so we could take him at #2 if need be (if we couldn't find a trade partner)

Like I said before... Atlanta went crazy with trades to move up to grab a legit gamebreaker in Julio Jones.

Davis is a legit gamebreaker. We don't even have to trade up for him.

I'm not sure they don't, but I think people are cautious with his level of competition, and want to check his timed speed. I honestly don't care, I think #2 is a little rich, but can see him now going after Williams and Ross, which could put him in range to trade up from #34 to get him
If Lynch/Shanahan think hes a legit WR who will be able to beat double teams, pull the trigger.

How long has it been since the Niners had a legit WR that defenses had to scheme to stop?

He was a man playing in a boy's league. I like him a lot. I think Mike Williams is a tad better and played against more NFL-like defenses but Corey, when healthy, has the traits you look for and can be molded into a really good WCO receiver. Hopefully we can steal him.

I like Davis a lot too. If FO goes WR with first pick, I won't mind Davis over Williams. That being said, I prefer Williams myself because of the bold, he showed up in the big game vs best defense around, plus Davis is already injured

My thoughts exactly. The great news is that if we do go Williams/Davis, they are going to learn the best offense from offensive guru's. No doubt, the second they walk into that building, they'll be learning the ins/outs of route running, the full route tree and all the nuances that come with it.

The best time to learn a new language is when you're young ... all the offensive players who survive the cuts will benefit, but the rooks basically start with an empty cup.
Corey Davis is on another level as a receiver. He actually can seperate in multiple ways ways and doesn't rely on high-pointing the 50/50 ball.

He has these two little things called speed and route running. Oh yeah, he actually gets YAC, too.

Corey Davis is my top offensive player and at least on par with Hooker, Adams, Allen and Thomas. With these 5 guys you can't really go wrong and you might have to rely on fit to make a choice.
In Fox Sports' recent released mock draft from Pete Schrager, he has Corey Davis falling out of the first round, and the 49ers picking him up with their second round pick, number 34. From what I have seen on our mock draft boards, most here, if not all, are projecting him as a first round pick, and likely Top 20. So is Pete Schrager crazy or are we crazy?

Pete must be a closet Niner fan.

No, it's b/c of his ankle injury concerns IIRC.

Probably over-reacting to Davis not running or testing yet.

I'd creme my pants

1-Garrett
2-Davis
3-Peterman

I like Williams over Davis just barely like NC. but I think we'd all cream our pants if we somehow pulled Garrett at 2, then we'd double cream our pants if Davis was there at 34
However, I'd prefer Raekwon if he's there than Peterman
