"There's a bunch of good backs in this draft. But the other top ones – McCaffrey, Cook, Mixon, Kamara – all of those guys are more today's NFL running back. They'll be on the field on third down as well as first and second down. Fournette is a first- and second-down back."

I say to check out the Miss St. game because there's evidence of him playing well on 3rd down.

You throw out a Mayock quote... there's no evidence in that.
Nobody wants to address the whole 2.5 ypc in 3 games vs Alabama?

Closest D to what he'll see in the NFL and he puts up very pedestrian numbers?

This is not someone who can change the team all on his own.

Very good talent but he's not worth #2 overall for this team.

Just you watch, the moment when Kyle and Bobby work him out, they will be in awe and it will be next to impossible to deny that level of talent in hand!!

Let's go Fournette!!

Let him be. He has a serious axe to grind with Fournette for some reason.

Fournette can do anything asked of a three down back in the NFL, and there is tape of him doing it. He just wasn't asked to do it all that often.

Dudes going to be a stud.

Where is the evidence that "Fournette is better than AP on third downs"? Because he caught 15 whole passes last year? Smh.

How many times was he targeted this season? He could have easily padded his stats against the s**t competition this season, but he didnt. He played against the tough comp, and rested against the gimme teams.
The 49ers arent drafting Fournette sadly, the confirmed meeting almost seals it.

A few weeks ago I thought the 49ers had a chance to pair Fournette with Watson with their 1st and 2nd round picks. IMO that could have turned things around pretty quickly. Now that seems to be impossible. I wouldn't be surprised if Watson goes top ten.

I haven't seen it...4 catches for 27 yards proves nothing.

It's not axe to grind, sorry if I'm not in a lovefest with a two down RB that lacks blocking ability, doesn't fit our system, isn't a top end pass catcher, had tight hips etc

A RB doesn't make this team better...

All absolute statements based on your opinion and nothing more. Got it.

People reading your posts and nothing more in this thread would think Fournette was going to go undrafted lol.

What do you know about about wanting to make this team better. You want to draft "defense". Fuk that. Defense isn't sexy and it doesn't put points on the board and it doesn't get my girl wet.

gtfo with your "defense" sh$t.

As I've said as per a great advice from one of the mods, when you see haters like that talking crap, the best policy is to ignore and let them be.

They can post as much BS as they want and once no one argues with them, eventually they will die out. Just don't give them the fuel to keep posting sh*t.

Besides, is absolutely pointless and a complete waste of breath to talk to people like that anyway.

People with reason know Fournette is the real deal and he is 2nd best player in this draft after Myles Garrett. We don't need to argue with such haters to reaffirm our beliefs!!

Let's go Fournette!!

Yea, headline after the draft, "Biggest bust in the history of the draft Leonard Fournette becomes UDFA". Yea rightttt.
