Who do you want with the 2nd pick?

Who do you want with the 2nd pick?

I'd say Best available WR or CB, whoever that may be when the 49ers are on the clock. If WR, I'd go with DGB, and CB, I'd say Collins
Some guys, I'd be interested in are:

Kendricks - Might be a slight luxury at 2, but I think he'd pair great with Bowman.

DGB - Very toolsy (no pun intended). The personal issues are a concern, so I hope they did their homework.

Lockett - I think of him as a poor man's Cooper.

Smith, Devin - Would be nice to have more than one deep threat (in addition to Torrey).

Strong - Kind of reminds me of a more aggressive Crabtree. Not sure about the recent off-field rumors.

Harold - Eventual replacement for Brooks?

Either way, just take the best player available. With three 4's, I think they have some flexibility in rounds 2 and 3.

He also has the potential to be a huge epic bust, probably why a guy with his potential didn't go in the 1st round.

Pretty much anyone has the potential to be a bust. Now in the second round, the reward greatly outweighs the risk. His ceiling is very high.

Win with Class

Maybe you'd love to field a team of choir boys. Gotta have some edge to your team. All the great teams of passed era's had a nasty side to them. With that said if Randy Gregory is there we must pull the trigger. He made a stupid choice and he's already paying for it by not going top 10. If Gregory is gone I'll take mad Max at TE and Coates in the early 3rd for l have lost all confidence in VD.

i would love a corner but if the te/wr from michigan is there i would grab him,,,,,,,,,,, but i am reallly leaning to corner. we got two solid starters, two kids who we have no clue about, thank you former regime,,,, and a possible nice surprise in simpson so mayyyyybe we can wait till the third or even fourth for our wideout?

i like this way of thinking,,,, that is a think we do not have to worry about with our first round pick thank god
Let's just dominate today and get Gregory, DGB, Poutasi, and Duke Johnson.
I don't think Fisher will be there, but he'd be the BPA if he made it to our pick. Of the options listed in the poll, DGB and Strong would be the best fits. Still a lot of concerns with Gregory.
Arik Armstead
I hope we trade up in front of the Rams and take a WR.
Could have done it for Parker, but probably too expensive. Now, we must do it! Give back this 4th rounder and select a young WR.
hoping we can get two picks in this round
My easy 1st choice is Jaelen Strong. Would've been just fine if we drafted him at #15. Having said that I've made my peace with the idea that by not taking him there he's going to be gone unless we trade up, probably with Tennessee and it sounds like they're targeting him :(

2nd choice would be to gamble on DGB...not sure if he'll make it either. I know 49ers may not be the only team thinking he's worth the risk in the 2nd round.

After those two guys there are several players I'd be happy with.

Eddie Goldman, Carl Davis, Paul Dawson, Henry Anderson, Devin Smith, and a bunch more.
If we can somehow get two picks this round I'd love DGB and Perriman
My gut's telling me Baalke really wants TE Clive Walford...and for good reasons. He's got the total game...playmaker, can block and with the WR speed Chryst has now, our TE's and Boldin should thrive in the underneath space our fast guys will create. Vernon's Niner future is dubious, at best...so why not draft his replacement now. Let's face it, other than maybe Carrier, there's a dearth of receiving talent with the rest of the TE's. Now, the question is, does Baalke gamble that Walford will slip to the 3rd rd...it's possible, but let's see where Maxx Williams gets picked and that'll be a good indication where Walford will follow.

lol, the 49ers could literally get like one of those guys, although Gregory could really fall all the way down the boards. In the 2nd, you pretty much have to choose between Duke Johnson and DGB.
