They'd have to trade outside of a range Baalke is comfortable with.
He would cost WAY too much, especially seeing what Watkins costs the Bills last year.

I'm not sure we need a vertical threat with a first round pick. We can find someone who can blow the top off a defense in later rounds (Coates is a perfect example)

I'm thinking our top picks consist of either offensive line, or defensive line
This is a make or brake draft for Baalke, in my eyes. We finished 8-8 with half of our team on the IR and the HC position a question mark for pretty much most of the season. This is a draft were we MUST find a game changer in the first round. I don't follow college football closely enough to make my own guess on who the best WR coming out will be. What I do know is that we are probably loosing Crabs,Lloyd with Boldin being another year older and having Bruce and Q.P with very little experience. We definitely need someone with speed(for the 8th draft in a row...lol).

So this is the plan, don't know how to pull it off, but from what I've heard about where each player where be drafted it's possible with a few moves.

RD1-Parker
RD-2-DBG
RD-2-Coates

Boom!

No more speed issues...

Use thr rest of the draft for both of the lines.

Got to be DL. Even if Justin Smith comes back, you are talking about a 36 year old paired with 2 injured players in Williams and Dorsey, and the unknown of Carradine and a back up in Dial.

You're joking right?
About what? Drafting 3 WRs? Baalke needing to draft an imapact player immediately? WR being a position of need?

Please be a little more specific, your question is very vague and hard to understand....lol

I was somewhat joking, but we will be old and inexperienced at the same time. With those 3, start Parker, and let Coates, DBG, Bruce and QP fight it out in training camp. I think we should carry 6 and 1 wouldn't dress on game day. Draft O-line and BPA the rest of the way.

Omg we are not going to draft receivers with our first 3 picks. Even in video games that's highly questionable

As I said, "I was somewhat joking" that part obviously means that Baalke wouldn't draft WRs with our first three picks. That's what I honestly wish we did. You can't tell me if we got those three WRs and spent the rest of the picks solely on both of the lines it wouldn't improve our team.

Which side of the ball let our team down the most this year?

With those WRs to take the top off the "D" plus an improved O-line would our team not have a greater chance at winning games, I don't think a child playing video gamer would need to answer that as you've eluded to with your silly emoji....

Boy I'm glad you're not our GM!

This. We need a stud lineman to pair with Tank.

What would you do? Or does require more typing than you can handle, oh great GM....

Never answered any of my questions.....but sit there and perseverate on me saying I'd draft 3WRs with speed and fix the O-Line, I'm sure your emoji plan is much better....
NOOOOOOOOOOOBODY!!!

Trade down.

Idk I haven't scouted the whole class yet. I'll get back to you with my mock draft sometime. But I sure as hell wouldn't pick THREE receivers, let alone with our first 3 picks

Right now I would say Danny Shelton but there might be a pretty good WR or pass rusher available.

What does this offense need? Someone with speed and size. Someone who can take the top off the defense. So why would the 49ers select Jaelen Strong? That's why I think DeVante Parker and DGB are great fits for our offense.

Every team could use a player with speed and size. No team needs one. We would pick Strong because he's a big receiver with great hands and playmaking ability. If you want more speed guys, look at Greene or Montgomery in the 2nd

So DeVante Parker and DGB are not even in the picture for you?

Are we even sure that DGB is declaring?
And I'm sorry but DGB would be a horrible pick for us. I can't think of the last WR we developed. DGB is far too raw to become a starter on our offense.
Horrible pick and Baalke won't go for him even if he is there

Also Parker is not a guy who can take the top off a defense.
The biggest thing I look for in a big WR in college is their ability to create seperation (whether it be in the air or on the ground)
I have yet to see Parker do that. He is not very good at distancing himself from opposing secondary,
Sorry but Sherman would absolutely own Parker.

Not a good move for either.

Yeah not sure he declares but if he does he should be the pick! What is there to develop? I understand he might not be the best at running routes but that can be learned and he has Boldin and SJ to learn from (and I doubt we have the same WR coach under the new HC). If anything he would open the field and be a great red zone target his rookie year...let's not miss out on 2 Beckhams

The kid was the #1 HC recruit and would be a top 5 pick if he didn't get in so much trouble. He has the most potential out of all of the WRs in this draft.....all that said Baalke will probably pass on him based on PR and Jed's stance on off-the-field issues.
We need a legit #1 receiver that can take the top off the defense. We must either draft one in the 1st or get one through free agency/big trade. We can't afford to have all these possessions receivers anymore. We need a big fast elite guy in the mold of the AJ Greens, Julio Jones, Megatrons, Demaryius Thomas's, etc.

My guess is Crabtree and Lloyd are both gone. Boldin, Johnson, and Patton may be question marks. I only see Ellington as the for sure lock to be around next year.
