I don't mind the idea of trading back (little by little) while keeping both Fowler or Beckham in front of us..

I don't understand the love for Shelton, we already have two nose tackles. Shelton may not be able to be as effective as a 5-Tech.

More overall talent for the DL. He's been a monster and would be a great guy to stop teams from running up the middle, also has shown some pass rush ability and the ability to beat double teams this season.

So we'd add a NT in the first round over getting a top level WR? Uh what?

Yes, defensive line is a lot more important right now IMO. The offense has Boldin and Stevie Johnson right now, Brandon Lloyd is also a possibility to re-sign. 9ers could also trade back up into the 1st or 2nd round to select possibly Sammie Coates or Rashad Greene. But we shall see, Baalke always looks to trade or pick up a veteran WR too. Things could also change say if Baalke picks up Nick Farley.

I have mixed feelings. There is some solid talent in rounds 2-4.
Malcolm Brown
Tyeler Davison

Ideally, I like the idea of Davison competing with Williams and Dorsey. If the rookie wins, its a true competion. If not, hes groomed for the future.

On the other hand, I do like the idea of a true run stuffer like Shelton. That might help coax the Cowboy to come back too.

I disagree. I don't think there a re 32 players who deserve a 1st round pick. This is more of a trade up or trade out draft to me. No need for more picks this year. Maybe we can stock up on picks for next year if they are confident the trade down won't cost us a quality player, but I think depth is weak here, except DL and RB.
How about Eddie Goldman frm Florida state??? Frm what i read he can play 3-4 DE or NT ...

I have been a huge fan of trading up. But this year, Baalke may need to reload some positions. Crabtree, Iupati, Smith, etc.

Danny Shelton is a guy I am very interested if everything checks out. There have been some questions about his effort level and motivation, that's a big red flag to me but otherwise, the guy has been an absolute beast this season and would be a great fit for this defense.

Kevin White is someone else that I am highly impressed by.

Big bullseye for me watching Shelton at the Senior Bowl. Intriguing guy for sure.
Kevin White. Devante Parker if we jump ahead.
RD-1White/Parker(whoever is there if we stay)
Trade back into the first round
RD-1Gordon (pair him with Hyde for a nice one-two punch for years to come)

Would give us some much needed speed.

I'm just spit-balling ideas out there. I don't play video games, as Lizard eluded to. Just fun to talk about my favorite team with fellow fans.

If we are talking in all seriousness the....

RD1-Best WR when we pick
RD2-Best O-line
RD3-Hopefully Coates or DBG would still be there

Todd Gurley!

He will naturally drop in the draft as a result of his injury and we should pounce! In my opinion, he'll be a much better pro than Carlos Hyde and I think Gurley can truly be a star. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would have a shot to draft him, but alas, here we are!

How serious is it? Lattimore or Peterson? And what round?

Some player that absolutely nobody expects.. and that we could of traded back 15 spots to get.
As always BPA...which right now I hope boils down to WR or DL...White or Shelton would be great.
