Who are you cutting or knocking out of the starting lineup? The only option IMO is Alex Boone. Mike Iupati is gone and Daniel Kilgore was arguably our bext lineman this season.

I think Iupati is gone, he can be horrible sometimes and the 1 thing I look for in a lineman is consistency.
Boone maybe, I think we should move him to tackle and have Kilgore swap to guard.
It would look like,

This is the 21st century. You don't have to take one that early. Now I will admit if I'm them, I'd be tempted to take Melvin Gordon in the first.

Ultimately you're right. My favorites are Amir Abdullah and Duke Johnson... both of which will be available to us in the second or maybe even third. But Gordon in the first makes too much sense for them. It's by far their biggest need and they've invested a ton in Patterson and Jennings already.
