Has that Jacoby Jones kind of build.

If Chud does end up as the OC, I would hope that Coates is a major target. Raw but can really stretch defenses out and be a big play weapon downfield.
Dude, it's either this guy or white from WV in my opinion. This guy I like a lot though. Seriously, he reminds me of jerry rice the way he runs routes. Notice in the first 10 clips he has outrun the coverage and is wide open...(almost every one)

I think he would fit in great as a long ball guy who doesn't have to start right away & can be developed & be taught to learn chemistry with Kaepernick before getting more time on the field.
Dang, that's my new draft crush. Holy crap....this dude is going to a star.
He would definitely be a first rounder if he could catch. Too bad that's the single most important job of a WR.

He needs a good Week at the Senior Bowl to solidify his draft stock.

- Can he run a full route tree at the pros ?
- Hands

Senior Bowl Day 1

Sammie Coates Wasted no time showing off his wheels, consistently beating opposing corners deep during one-on-one drills.

Coates also showed quick feet and precision on a couple of hook/curl routes, showing some improvement in that area compared to some of the tape I'd watched previously.

Coates had a nice day of practice (Senior Bowl Day 2). Ran nice routes and caught everything thrown his way.

Charles Davis and Daniel Jeremiah compared him to Terrell Owens.

Didn't know Coates was batsh!t crazy and emotionally broken.
Haha ^
-NFL.com's Lance Zierlein wrote "I'm writing up Auburn WR Sammy Coates right now. Just watched every target over 2013 and 2014. Some of the worst hands I've seen on tape,"

-Brugler wrote. The 6-foot-2, 201-pound wideout has "[Terrell Owens'] body, [Odell Beckham Jr.'s] burst and [Darrius Heyward-Bey's] hands,"

two out of three ain't bad....well catching the ball is pretty important for a WR lol.
