Kyle and John's great need to prove they were right about him.....ego is the enemy.

Its called "falling in love with potential"

plagues many leaders including myself - you have to fight it.

Never draft a kicker early.

Tell that to the Raiders. They drafted one in the 1st round. He turned out okay so you can't say never.

For those that are interested and concerned there were 12 teams tha twere worse than the 49ers at converting the extra point last season. The Niners were right in the middle of the pack. So many fans are convinced they can find a guy any time they want that is better so why be concerned if it's that easy to replace him. If he screws up big time when the season starts they can replace him.

More like sunk cost fallacy. He was a third round pick.

Its also called being stubborn and an unwillingness tp admit your 3rd round kicker pick stinks.

Why wait until the season? He sucked last year. He's sucked so far this year in no pressure situations. The team IMO isn't going to be very good this year but Jake will undoubtedly cost them a game. Just like SB.

I'm predicting that Moody will be replaced this week. The look on Boyer's face during the game says a lot. You can't be missing PAT's and kicking OOB on a kickoff in final pre season game. I don't see how a serious team could enter the season with a wild card at Kicker.
If we can cut ties with Trey Lance then why can't we cut ties with this guy

I'm watching kickers from other teams embracing the pressure to kick 60+ yards. Thus dude looks shook on e tea pints and kickoffs. 😂

This all sure makes a lot of sense. I don't know what's taking ShanaLynch so long to figure out what the rest of the world sees and has seen. They have given him way more of a chance than most teams ever would

Even if we drafted a kicker as good as Janikoqski, it's still not worth it and it is still a waste. You can get a kicker that's about as good (or better) without wasting a pick. We've been good at kicker for a long, long time……..until we drafted one. There's no need for the risk, i don't care how great the kicker is

They think it's mental (which it is) and he will snap out of it like most young kickers do. What they're not taking into account is most those young kickers needed a fresh start in a new city to take the pressure off

Because they signed vets. What they should be doing instead of drafting one.

Daniel Carlson needs to be the #1 target in FA.

Yea the point is don't draft a kicker (especially in first 5 rounds). Even if we snagged a Justin Tucker, who gives a s**t? It's not like the Raiders were ever great becauee of Janikowski

You need to draft actual football players to win a SB. You'll be just fine at kicker with a Dawson, Gould, etc
