They have a new DC. Spags likes BIG DEs.....think Michael Strahan and Justin Tuck. Ford is undersized and would cost too much for what they want to run so they franchised him in order to at least get something back for him.

i think the draft is the way to go to get our wide out. lets say we trade down to the raiders and still pick in the top five or six.. we can still get a fine rusher correct? even if we get ford we need a rusher at number one. agree, i would give the third away in a heartbeat, we usually do crap with our third round picks anyway

A 2020 2nd round pick is automatically a discounted value as future picks are not valued as highly as picks this year. Also, it is almost assured it will not be a pick in the mid-30s in 2020. More likely something in the 50s.

It's usually worth one round worse than this year. It's like a 2019 3rd. Beautiful!
