He's getting tagged, but per Schefter the Chiefs are listening to trade offers for him. What do you guys think?

They have a new DC. Spags likes BIG DEs.....think Michael Strahan and Justin Tuck. Ford is undersized and would cost too much for what they want to run so they franchised him in order to at least get something back for him.

Exactly. Both sides get what they need...not that I care that much about what the Chiefs get out of it.

I'm told Dee Ford is heading to the #49ers, per source.

Exactly my thoughts. Giving up a 3rd would be great but I'm having a hard time believing that at the moment.

Good deal for us. Hopefully that pick is in the 50s or 60s

Why ford? One year wonder on the worst defense in the league last year.

Lock this up. He's agreed to the contract. He is a Niner.

#49ers and Dee Ford need to work out a long-term deal before the trade sets done. A 5-year deal worth over $87M is in the works, per ESPN.

Looks like it might actually happen. Pairing him with Bosa will dramatically turn this tream around. Now still need a receiver, safety, and a corner.

This is a pretty great deal. Ford's not on Mack's level by any means but he's a big time pass rusher. A 2020 2nd is an easy trade to make. Bosa or QW at 2 then WR in the 2nd
