Signing him would not rule out anything. That is why he is still on the market. Teams are not changing their draft plans because of this guy.

Missed it by a few hours, he is on Tampa, and for 4million, wudda been an easy pickup. And just like signing Dee Ford, has every Bosa fan in an uproar, there has been a few articles (most on the 49ers webzone ) that support NOT taking Bosa b'cuzz they have Dee Ford to play SAME position. So people CAN and DO change drafts plans for a player. Happens more often than not. Only/mostly bloggers and 'Zoners are saying that they can still draft Bosa and show alignments and rotations on how it can work- BUT the coaching staff is on record as saying how they are aligning their defense, and also signing/resigning players that support their assertions. js

Pretty good deal. If we do draft Bosa and had signed Shaq Barrett, we would've had a front 7 that had the chance to be a very exceptional group.

Its entirely possible he did not want to come here because hed be playing behind Ford and likely Bosa - in Tampa he has a chance to start.

Did he goto Tampa or Baltimore ??

I'm interested in seeing what Shaq gets this offseason when he finishes with 20 sacks this year lol.

If the Broncos don't tender him, he is an absolute must sign priority free agent. Overshadowed by Von Miller and Shane Ray, he has always came up big when asked to step in. 3 down strong side line backer with major pass rush ability. Hopefully, with the Broncos relative lack of cap space, need for a QB, and money already tied up in the position for Miller and Ray, we get a shot at Shaq.

Woulda been a steal.

I liked Barrett, but I never envisioned this. This is f**king nuts. I don't think it's all a fluke, either. Most of those sacks are legit.
