Atogwe would be better off signing a one year deal with a team that would allow him to start and audition for a contract next season. The 49ers aren't one of those teams.

I said offer, if he has no other takers then he may sign.
its up to him to accept it. He's coming of surgery, so idk if he would want to sign a one year deal and risk injury again.

Despite playing a shortened season, Atogwe had 74 tackles, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and a sack in 12 games. Atogwe, who will turn 29 years old this month, has 19 interceptions in his five-year NFL career.

Doubt it happens. They just drafted Earl Thomas ( i assume he's starting) who plays FS. Also doubt they'd move Atogwe to SS which he never played in his career. Probably just a Stunt to get the Rams to pay up.
