OJ Atogwe to be a FA

but arent we working out an extension with goldson?

and we just drafted mays...

if we make any attempts to sign this guy I'd think lewis gets cut

then Goldson moves to SS and Mays sits but then we let Goldson leave for FA and Mays starts next year? I think I'd be surprised if we went after OJ, it would say to me that they don't want Goldson. But if they want DG, then that Mays pick in the second is another headscratcher

I doubt we go after OJ too. Would just mess everything up there. Seems much more simple to get Goldson a deal, keep Lewis as the starter now and work Mays in.

He aint nothing special, I think he is overrated.

I actually think it makes a lot of sense to go after Atogwe. Goldson and Atogwe fit the requirements of having "mirror safeties," and Mays could be worked in to the role that Lewis now plays (in-the-box enforcer), only at a much cheaper rate and with much more upside.

Isn't Atogwe a FS? I guess we move Goldson to SS.
