Bring him in to the fold.
The awesome part is, that even if he is healthy and appears to be an able contributor, there is no guarantee he makes the 53 man roster.
MAN I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE DRAFT!!

Lose one warrior in jeff ulbrich and gain another in trvis laboy! I see that as an upgrade at linebacker! But jeff did bring good pressence and veteran leadership in the locker room and on sp teams!

any news on his visits to MIA/NE? I'm not so sure the 49ers offered him a contract I believe all the teams may just be waiting until after the draft and just doing their homework early on guys they may potentially sign later. Seems to be what the 9ers are doing with Chester Pitts as well. With such a deep draft we should keep our options open and clean up the roster with FA like Laboy/Pitts if needed after the draft.
What do I know the guy will probably sign tomorrow

Actually we also have Isaac Sopoaga who was on the D-line with LaBoy too. I bet that's another reason San Francisco is his number one choice.

I hope we sign him and draft Schofield. That way we have a back up in place while Scho is on the IR. If Manny has another average year they can let him test the market while having adequate depth with Brooks, Haralson, Schofield and La Boy.

Yup and if leile woulda worked out he woulda been an extra warrior! But he didn't lol! Yeah soapaga finally started to hold his own as of late! And laboy would be a good addition if we actually sign em! In your opinion who do ya think he would replace? Or do ya think he would be a situational player?

Actually think LaBoy would be a situational pass-rusher, but if he proves he could stay healthy I could see him as a starter. But actually I think Brooks is a much more threat than Haralson and LaBoy.

Well if he's from the bay area and a fan of the Niners like he says he is...hopefully he'd have to get something substantially better to move.

Sounds like they are offering just at or below market value and he wants more. Nothing wrong with that, but LaBoy's expectation should be down because he is recovering from injuries.
Like my Dad always said, "There is nothing wrong with wanting and do it your own hard way."
Gotta love Pops!!!
