He's a solid player, great motor, good pass rush and run containment
I hope Niners sign him, but I also hope it doesnt mean they give up on Briggs.
though keeping 5 OLbs isnt out of the question for a 3-4 team

Ever since Zak Keasey left, there's been a void for an awesome white boy on this team. I think Travis can be "La Boy" that this team has been looking for since Zak left.

It probably means we need to make this thread 60+ pages like we did for Keasey.

If he signs, Briggs, Laboy, and a draft pick will most likely compete for the final 2 spots after Lawson, Brooks, and Haralson.

If they sign LaBoy, I really doubt they draft a pass rusher (at least not early...maybe someone they can develop on the PS). I think they'll go with Manny/Parys as the starters and rotate LaBoy/Briggs (depending on who's active) on passing downs.
Btw, I think LaBoy as a situational pass rusher is very solid signing (if healthy, of course). He'll be what TBC should've been for us, but with a better motor and a wider array of pass rush moves.

A good friend of mine was the punter for Hawaii while Laboy was there. Apparently, Laboy was no stranger to the juice.
