Following Adam Shefters Twitter has been great this free agency. There's been many developments that have been overlooked by the media. Here are a few as of the last 10 hours that are certainly noteworthy.... David Carr to visit 49ers: http://tinyurl.com/yhaqach #nyg Saints on verge of making restricted free-agent G Jahri Evans one of the highest paid guards in NFL history. Deal could come any day now. With free-agent TE Brandon Manumaleuna agreeing to a five-year deal in Chicago, it frees the Bears to trade TE Greg Olsen Panthers released DT Maake Kemoeatu, who tore his tore Achilles in late July. I hope this means we won't waste a draft pick on a QB now, and if smitty gets injured carr has a lot of experience being a qb behind a s**tty OLine.

I'd even settle on Chester Pitts at guard. Relying only on the draft to upgrade the O line could backfire.

Not only should we pick up a QB in the draft instead, but we should be looking for depth at other positions besides QB.

No what I'm saying is, I rather get a QB in the draft instead, and wouldn't worry about bringing in a free agent QB till maybe July. If that's the case why not bring in Chad Pennington or Jake Delhome instead??
