So what? Every man ages At his own pace, some 35 year olds are better off than some 25 year olds.
26.5 sacks the last two seasons tells me he's far from being washed up.

heck yes the guy can still produce, and he has leadership you just can't find.

So what? You can play good football until 35. Some guys can do it until 36 or 37. He's still a good football player. People have to get over this idea that every player has to be 22 - 23 years old. It's not realistic.
A championship team will be made up of 20 something and 30 something players. See the 94 team if you don't believe me.

Only if he gets released . . . I wouldn't give up a pick for him.

It would seem that he fits in that category of "Cut" players who Scotty covets because we don't have to deal with their contracts and they don't count against our FA pickup if I am not mistaken.
I believe he would want SD or us as AZ just lost Kurt and may lose others. If he comes cheap, then heck yes as he would be an added improvement to our LB squad.
He and Spikes would go nuts!!!

I see/hope the Chargers getting him. As oppose to the Cards.

No.
Sing might like him though, because Porter has to talk sh*t to pump himself up.

If Miami was willing to take a 4th rounder for Porter, I'd do it...especially since we haven't had much luck with 4 rounders in the last 25 years or so. Goldson and Soap are the only 4th rounders since 1986 that have done anything for us.
So I'd take my chances with Porter.

I don't know about trading for him, but I would definitely want us to sign him if he were released.

26.5 over two years on a Dolphins linebacker corp....they are a good defense, but i can see Porter having REALLY good numbers with so many other good players around him in front 7...
considering his experience in the 3-4 and actual coverage abilities, i may like him slightly more than peppers, who is sort of an enigma at this point...we have no idea how he would do standing up and in coverage..

hell yes.
he makes out pass rush feared, and i believe that lawson can play opposite him the best. ship haralson out and develop brooks.
get a secondary and we got a top 3 d for a few years to try to make a superbowl run.
