Forgot to add Warner retiring. The main thing for me is that we get a QB though. The other stuff is secondary. McNabb with VD Crabs and Gore would be a lethal force

Dream Scenario (filled with realistic possibilities):
1. Hiring Mike Solari as o-line coach. (Won't happen, but possible.)
2. Going with MacDuff for ST coach (it'll be a very neutral/safe hire).
3. Obtain Logan Mankins from the Pats in exchange for a mid-round pick. (Pats don't like trading for first rounders, so they'd cut us a good deal for his UFA tender.)
4. Obtain O.J. Atogwe from the Rams, cut Mark Roman & Michael Lewis (obtain a depth SS in the 3rd or 4th round).
5. Lock up Franklin, Davis, and Willis.
6. Cut Joe Nedney and sign Stephen Gostkowski (he'll be released by NE soon).
7. Draft CJ Spiller & Bryan Bulaga in the first round.
8. Use remaining draft picks on 'ABSOLUTE NEED' positions in terms of depth.
9. Cut Shaun Hill, place Nate Davis at the #2 spot, and sign Chris Redman for 'vetran' depth.
If we can accomplish at least 5 out of nine of these options we'll definitely take the West, regardless of whether Warner decides to retire or not. -Not to mention, if we can seal this stuff up we'll in an ABSOLUTE position to go 'all-out' for a rookie QB next season, like trade up BIG TIME for Jake Locker in 2011. -As well actually be in a PERFECT position offensively to let him succeed as our future.

Get a vet OT, OG or both in FA.
Draft OT with first pick
CB or safety with 2nd first round pick
Spiller in the second
BPA with round 3-7 (a speedy WR with one since they do not have much faith in J.Hilll)

My dream offseason would be getting the baddest offensive line in the league. We have the ammo to do it but doubt they will spend it all on the oline.
first pick is oline
second pick is dline
first big FA signing is oline
playoffs baby!!!

Draft spiller at 13, buluga at 17. Spikes in the 2nd. Two speedy corners in rounds 3 & 4.
Extend Willis & Davis to 5+ year deals.
Resign baas to a fair contract with playing time incentives(some of you don't get if we sign mankins it will cost us a 1st & 3rd)
Sign Merriman to a 3 or 4 year deal with playing time incentives
Trade next years 1st round pick for Mcnabb.
We'd be superbowl bound.

Dream offseason?
The Niners fire Singletary and Raye. I don't care about Warner. We beat the Cardinals twice and still lost our division. Besides, under Singletary this team was constantly unprepared for big games. Hence a bad team (Seahawks) that couldn't beat anyone at the time (they were getting blown out every week) beats the Niners when the playoffs were still a possibility.
IF the Niners somehow win the div next season by being slightly less crappy then our div rivals we can look forward to getting spanked in the playoffs by teams with real head coaches. You know, coaches that worked there way through the ranks. Usually working as a position coach in college and then working their way up to a coordinator position or special teams coach for a few years before finally getting a shot at a HC job. On the other hand you have the Niners HC. Linebacker coach on a team with badass linebackers (such a tough job) and then a sideline cheerleader/motivator with no responsibilities he could be held accountable for (for 3.5 years) before being named Niners HC.
I was hoping we would fire Singletary and get Shanahan. Oh well. I guess I just need to wait for all the bs hype next season followed by tons of excuses, losses and finally the season ends with a blowout loss in the playoffs. THEN we can go searching for a new HC in 2011.
