The fact that Hardin had no business brushing up against MWP I think will keep it a low number of games for the suspension.

I think he gets 5 games. He is handling it right this time, but reactions across the league is people think it was intentional, but unintentional to the head. It was a clear out that went wrong.

Suspend him for the year. After "Malice at the Palace" he should know better. This ain't his first rodeo. That was an intentional KO that caused a concussion which, in case you have noticed, pro sports leagues are starting to take very seriously. No different than just flat out cold cocking him imo.

Yeah, I was equally frustrated with the offense down the stretch. That said, Pau has always given me the impression that he wants no part of the ball in those moments (most of the time) unless he's shooting an open jumper. There are a lot of times where he'll have the ball and all he does is look for where Kobe is...doesn't even try to attack. I thought OKC did trap him off of the PnR most of the time, and Kobe made some solid passes to Gasol after he rolled. That's why most of our buckets came off of terrible looks that Kobe just managed to knock down. (Blake made a really difficult corner 3 as well)

Basically, between that and Durant/Westbrook being cold, we got lucky down the stretch.

I think Westbrook going cold was more so him shooting a lot of jumpers and Kobe playing solid defense on him throughout the course of the game. Durant however...he was bricking A LOT of good looks (especially by Durant's standards) and that's something we can't count on going forward (that floater he had in I think the 2OT that went in-n-out? he just couldn't buy a bucket lol). Blake and those triples in the 4th and OT were impeccably well timed and Jordan Hill...f**k. Yes. Loved his play and how well he crashed the offensive glass and moved his feet!

It can't go unmentioned that Harden's loss for OKC was HUGE...Thunder became predictable and less potent without him on the court, MWP's elbow definitely helped more than hurt...albeit, MWP was playing well up until he got tossed but Harden's impact>>> MWP's impact

Also, it might just be me, but anyone see Hill's post game in the locker room? I like the way he carries himself...I think I'm developing a mancrush...

Losing Hardin for them is no different than if the Spurs lost Manu. Hardin fills in the missing production during those times Westbrook or Durant don't produce. Love the way Hardin plays. He keeps the offense and defense from being stagnant. It was a big loss but who gives a f**k. It still doesn't excuse blowing a big lead like that.

The Lakers deserve major credit for fighting back.

I still don't know why they don't setup more plays for Blake to hit the three on the edges. With Kobe, Pau, and Bynum, all three of which can force any defense to collapse, I think Blake could be deadly if he gets consistent looks down there.

I've always liked Hill, glad to see he's getting a chance.

IMO it'd make zero sense for Artest to return before Harden. Any suspension he receives should be on top of what Harden misses. If the league thinks the act is worth a 5 game suspension and Harden misses 7 games, Artest should be out 12 and CERTAINLY he shouldn't return before Harden does. If's like getting arrested for assault but getting out of jail before your victim gets out of the hospital...just would be so illogical.
