Great pass from Adu, too. Right on the money. The defender was caught in limbo, and had to play off of Donovan, letting him have space to set up the pass.

I'm so glad he gave Adu a chance. I wanted to see him more in the WC. Freddy is raw and makes a mistake here and there, but he's electric. He creates opportunities and looks to attack. Exactly what we need out there.

I keep hearing about how big of an upset it was that we lost to Panama.
And I know we hadn't lost to them or in that round before.
But how big of an upset can it be when a typical game is 1-0 or 2-1?
Is it really that improbable to have a one goal swing against anyone?
One lucky or unlucky bounce and that's the game.
