the Tigers are slowly becoming the Midwest version of the Mets. spend a ton of money to finish in 3rd or 4th place every year.

thats alot of cash for an older C who is blocked from his secondary position by a superstar at 1B...

I think Lilly and Kershaw are a tad overrated, though Kuroda, Billingsly, and Broxton are a pretty solid core to build around. As much as adding Garland sounds good, it would've sounded better 2-3 years ago...not as worried about him, though if they do add another bat, they probably will have the best batting lineup in the NL West
