Personally I'm so tired of them spending money on every big name free agent out there I'd rather just have them build up their farm system and let other teams have some big stars too.

adding granderson this past off season and berkman in the trade deadline isnt adding to the payroll???

I meant as free agents not trades. Berkman is gonna be a free agent after the season and its not like we had to pay his salary for the entire season, and Granderson's contract isn't that bad of a deal until 2012 when we have to pay him 10 million unless we pick up his 2013 option for 13.

I was kidding about Pujols and Lincecum.

However they will probably go out this year and get Cliff Lee and Carl Crawford and give them crazy money. I like the Giants and the Yankees. I wasn't around when the Giants were in New York so I have no reason to hate them. They've always been my favorite NL team.

Oh I hear ya I hate those kind of fans too. For awhile everyone up here was wearing Red Sox stuff but now its all Phillies and Yankees stuff. I'm sure next year I'll be seeing more Rangers stuff.

I'm not from NY but I was born into being a Yankees fan in the 80s. Don Mattingly is from Indiana like me. In the 80s, the Yankees weren't all that good, but Donnie Baseball was king in my house. My biological father is a Yankees fan and I must have inherited it. And to all Giants fan, I have been rooting for the Giants to make it to the World Series. I love watching Timmy L. pitch and think he's the best in the majors. Would love to kinda of have a throwback World Series, with NY vs. The Giants, who have their ties coming from NY. so Go Yankees. And ill even throw out a "Go Giants" for all my San Fran brothers.
