***Orlando Magic Offseason Thread***

Need a true PF as no one is helping Dwight down low. Bosh is intriguing but would destroy the Magic's cap space.

Let's see what Otis Smith will pull with the talent available this offseason.

But around the league, speculation remains that the Hornets may move Paul. With owner George Shinn's proposed sale to Gary Chouest being delayed for financial reasons, opposing executives believe New Orleans may have to trade Paul and the $50 million owed to him over the next three seasons.

According to a source, the Magic and Bulls have discussed a deal centered upon Luol Deng.

Mickael Pietrus and center Marcin Gortat would come back to Chicago in return.




Wizards, Magic Might Be Talking Arenas For Carter Swap

According to a trusted source, the Wizards and Magic might be discussing a trade involving Gilbert Arenas for Vince Carter.

Michael Lee of the Washington Post confirmed the discussions, but there is 'nothing to it now.'

RealGM Note: Arenas is close to Magic GM Otis Smith from his time in the Golden State front office.

Damn, the Magic are rumored for some big names. Gotta keep Dwight happy I guess.

We tried getting CJ Watson last year and failed...trying again now apparently.

The Magic have contacted restricted free agent CJ Watson of the Warriors about joining Jameer Nelson to play the point down in Orlando.

I liked having Jason Williams, but CJ Watson would be a nice upgrade..or if Anthony Johnson retires or anything we could roll with Nelson/Watson/Williams
