I was able to catch the end of the first and most of the second quarters. I was impressed with Bynum's physique. He looks leaner and much more active. I sense a big year for the kid. Kobe looked really aggressive for the preseason. Shannon Brown's dunk was spectacular. When I was watching him come down the court, I think he had Odom calling for the ball in the middle of the key (a very safe pass) but his eyes just lit up and at some point and right before he took off I thought, "He's going to try and throw this down!?" Then Boom!!!! I hope he's the starter at some point this year. His defense and physical abilities are just too good. I loved Ron's "old-man" post-up on Curry (I think). Curry grabbed one arm for dear life after Artest posted him right under the basket. He caught the pass with one hand and kinda just hoisted it up behind his head (it missed but it was a crafty way to almost get an and1). Other than that, I really didn't see much, but I agree that this team is oozing with talent and can't wait till these games start to count.

Hahahaha. That Artest post up on Curry was hilarious. I think you're going to see that on a fairly regular basis. A lot of times on those back screens under the hoop, there's a lot of congestion, and there's an opportunity to catch a little guy on your hip. Artest does that well because he's so damn strong, he can seal the guard and usually get fouled. He looked like he could pick Curry up with one arm.

There's a guy on the LG board named Wilt, who I consider to be the most knowledgable fan regarding the triangle offense that I know, much moreso than I am. (in fact, I'm going to ask him to do an overview of the triangle that I can post in the Basketball Concepts thread) I greatly, greatly respect this guy's opinion, and I believe he's a little bit older, so he's seen A LOT of basketball as an avid fan.

Anyway, we were talking about the chances of repeating, and this is what he had to say.

lol, dude...just wondering, did you REALLY laugh when you read that, i mean like, laugh out loud, you know how sometimes ppl just put "lol" or "haha" but don't actually laugh when they read it, im just wondering...

by the way, hows the weather over in Arco nowadays? I hear theres been some serious dark clouds over there for a few years now...my boy Tyreke was just over in the City and was talkin to me about it...hes new to sacto, hes from the Philly area so he was kinda surprised by it yah know?

theres been an overwhelming amount of sunshine over at Staples, if I could, you know I'd send some your way...but for some reason, everytime I try, it darts off towards Vegas instead...idk why really...weird how the weather is sometimes...i wonder if its tryin to tell us something...oh well...for my boy Tyreke's sake, I hope it improves...he really is a fan of the sun...
