Aside from yet another forgettable 1st half deficit from which we had to recover, our "lack of urgency" as Cowher put it, dubious playcalling (where were the quick slants, screens, etc.?), abysmal use of the clock, incl delay and near delay of game, poor DB play, esp in the first half, but most of all, the incredible non-call (thought there were many of those), when Crabtree was held in the end zone right in front of the friggin' ref! That would have given us a frist down on the one and an almost sure victory!!
However, I must comment on the "lack of urgency" issue. The Ravens were well ahead and still used no-huddles and both got into and out of huddles with great economy of time. Ahead by 22 and still projected more a sense of urgency than we did. That showed a killer instinct; they wanted to put us away. I'm sure had we been ahead like that, we would have gone into conservative mode , to just sustain the lead. We barely got off plays on time, seemed extremely casual with our tempo, strolling in and out of huddles as if we had all the time in the world. Had it not been for Ginn's fortuitous runback and the turnover, it would not have been as close as it was, with the time left. And it seemed as if Colin was constantly changing up at the line of scrimmage, using up even more valuable clock. The Ravens audibles seemed far fewer and faster.
But it still comes to that last pass interference on Crabtree. So blatant and literally right under that ref's nose! That one call, we win! Crap, crap and oh yeah, CRAP!

Still not gunna matter though. THey missed ALOT of calls, but ultimately we had to stop them from passing deep and our secondary couldnt do that. Partialy due to the lack to bigger physical CBs on this team.

I wish Kap felt comfortable to call a run option on that last drive. The calls he was receiving from the booth were chit but I think he was just doing what he was told for the most part.

We had them on their heels, never should have allowed the time to run out on the two minute clock and given them a breather. The time to run out the clock is when you are ahead, not when you are trying to catch up.

the refs were against us from the very beginning. so many non calls. their guy pushed a ref and didnt even get penalized. two huge non calls on pass interference including the final to crabtree in the endzone that wouldve given them a 1st down on the 1 with less than two minutes left. culiver getting abused all game long, goldson not doing s**t and the special teams sucking dick on that return TD after the half. but despite all that s**t they overcame a huge defecit and still couldve won if the refs called a fair game. atleast on that last play. f**kin incredible that the nfl would let that happen in the f**king superbowl. so many instances where we got screwed its ridiculous...

1: first and foremost ...... Corrupt refs (smack to the head, hits. Face masks. Hitting the ref, holding, pass interference Crabtree hold on final play & a lot more were mysteriously not called)
2: Greg roman
3: Aldon smith sucks! (Sucks bad)
4: donte whitener sucks(worse than Aldon smith)
5: our defense is the worst in the league
6: did I mention donte whitner?
7: John is a supperior coach (by far)
8: trumaine Brock pretending he's a football player hahahahaha! Now that's funny!
9: chris culliver has a bigger mouth than athletic ability
10: randy moss would be the best of all time if only he was Jerry rice.(take plays off? I'm just waiting for him to take plays on )
11: Alex smith(why not? The guy is terrible)

Is it a bad thing, nope, just was. Think about it, perfect ending. Kaep throws the winning TD, Harb's is a mastermind, and Kaep willed this team to a victory.
however, we did have one run, and then 3 passes, to be fair.
On that last play, there was a little holding on the db that was on crabs, and Crabs was interfering too with his hand all over the guys helmet, and faceguard.
So I agreed with the nfl crew, espn crew, and guys calling the game. Both men had their share of a penalty. As a matter of fact, I thought that Crabs was gonna do what Boldin did when he had the receiver right in his pocket. Beat him and catch it.
If u notice before snap, Kaep was only gonna go to crabs. Soon as he snapped the ball. just like in that falcon game when bowman knew it was going to jones i think.
Hell of a game, but the last 4 plays werent the reason we lost.
Damn, Mooch just confirmed what i said (about Crabs and the Db both doing their thing). aint that sumthin.
Sorry man, I don't buy that was the best playcalling in that situation was throwing passes to the perimeter. Running LMJ to the outside might've been good. Passing to the sidelines...bad.
Ngata was out, and the middle was our oyster. We could have driven the ball straight up the middle for a score. I'm absolutely convinced that if we had pushed it a couple times on 2nd and 3rd with Frank, we would have scored. Chances are nobody was going to stop him.
Oh nah, i agree with u PS. It wasnt a good call at all. But what im saying is that Harbs all year has been doing what he feels is best and puts the team in the best position to win. In another post i used the Qb switch as just an example. Not talking about the why it was made. Just the fact it was made. We deal with it.
With that final series. it's just what they called, and we have to deal with it. Harbs is not about second guessing, and we ride or die with him, just like we have all season, and there have been questionable playcalls all season long. I'm once again just speaking in terms of, Harbs and Roman called what they thought was best at the time. it just didnt work. Thats all tho, but I agree wasnt the best call. But if it worked and we got a Td, we'd be singing praise.

Yo Wolf, wouldnt u know it. Mooch said the same thing that I did. Hah, and i said it first. lmao. But yeah as i said it was a good no call, and the game shouldnt have been decided by that one stop. I mean thats like saying if the refs make the right call we win. You never leave a game in the Refs hands. Just have to make things happen. Just that simple.

Dude! Exactly what I said! The refs need to be investigated or the nfl needs to be declared part of the WWE franchise

We averaged like 8 yds plus in the pistol, and with just like 5 yds to take the lead we for some stupid reason abandon it. Roman is so freaking hot and cold with his play calling, it upsets me that harbaugh didn't see that too. It's gonna be much harder to pass that close to the rz, when you have a runner like kaep and a back like gore there's no question what the plays should've been called. Stupid is way too nice for what I thought about the play calling
