THIS. LOL. 7 of 12 this year, 28 of 37 last year, career 75% kicker. Blew a 32 yard field goal to get the Ravens into the Superbowl last year. Hope this is more to motivate Akers than to actually let this guy kick.

He blew a tie at the end of regulation against the Pats.
no win situation

Did they release Akers or keep both?

Cut Jacobs, keep both

Jacobs wasn't on 53 man, so we need to make a roster move.
i bet they keep both of them and cundiff will the short guy and akers will be the long distance guy.
i dont like cundiff but i'll take him over akers right now. this is a lose-lose situation.... just aren't any good kickers out there
YES YES YES YES
so are we going to keep both kickers? akers for the chip shots and billy for the long field goals?

Could be like New Orleans does or did this year and previous years. But also takes away a spot on roster, would mean 4 ST spots exclusive on 46 man.

Use that money on a prostitute for Akers.

I think it would be vice versa. Akers has been money under 40 yards this year.

One problem. Akers has struggled with kicks past 40 yards.
try again
