Agreed it was an attempt to injure Mario are the 49ers asking the NFL to look at it or not

Not to mention the guy diving in and slamming his head into the ground when he was already on the ground. The ball may have been loose, but there was no attempt to even go for the ball. He made a clear cut move to pound his head into the turf.

Pretty much just a fail on Keg's part. You can't be a bust if you haven't had a chance to play. Lack of talent wasn't his issue. The depth at the position was the reason he sat. Just like LMJ.

That's silly

A) We aren't 15-0. A legit #3 or hell #2 WR would have been helpful in some of our loses
B) Coaches don't hold practices each day to evaluate players?

Your logic argues Harbaugh is saving Jenkins for the playoffs as some super secret weapon this league has never seen before OR that the play of WR's have been so good that he couldn't break the roster. But Randy Moss has started games for us this season.

Your logic argues that LMJ is a bust because he couldn't break the active roster before guys got hurt. So clearly you feel LMJ is a bust and has no business in the NFL.

See, it's easy to put words/ideas in people's mouths.

surprised no one said this yet...

"Next man up!" - it's time to earn your money Jenkins! Better be good because we expect the best! We have been spoiled for 30 years with stud WR's...
This really sucks. My sports ortho colleagues tell me ACL+PCL is generally MUCH worse than ACL+MCL (e.g. Adrian Peterson). ACL+PCL can be career threatening. Such a bad mood especially after being at the game yesterday...

I already illustrated the difference in positions. But okay

James was sitting behind Hunter (Future #1 ?)
Jenkins is behind Kyle Williams & Ted Ginn Jr (Interchangeable parts)

Anyhow, we seem to view our WR's production this season differently. IMO, the Giants fans were right about Manningham and especially Jacobs. Manningham is not a long term answer at the #2 WR spot. Randy has been about what I hoped for. 40 catches and 400 yards receiving

Yah it looked pretty bad so it's not a shock.

Terell Owens at age 39 is better than any Street FA that they can bring in and AJ JENKINS is a bust. Unless he miracouloisly transforms. The reason AJ aint playing is because he aint good enough. WR is and was a position of need and yet he still cant get PT?? Whats up with that?

lol
Yeah, I'm done in here.
This thread is going stupid with some of the comments. Really??

The ACL/PCL combo of a knee injury is the worst possible...it is career threatening and much worse than Adrian Peterson had last year. It would be a minor miracle if Manningham sees the field next year.

As far as the bust BS about Jenkins and all the other crap maybe it should go into another thread.

Only 2 reasons

1) Injuries slowing him down
2) Inability to grasp the playbook

There were reports he was struggling in training camp with the playbook. So I'm going to assume it's still that.
