Not but tying the Rams at home isn't something to be happy about

yea. I'd expect a game like that against the Jets on the road, but not the Rams at home.

Wasn't a good game... BUT tell me another team that loses there starting QB in the 2nd quarter, has to go to a QB that has NEVER started an NFL game and is able to be in a position to win the game? St. Louis is STILL A BAD TEAM... If Smith doesn't get hurt we score at lest 28 points, St Louis has to get out of there game plan, never able to have the punter throw for first downs and all this "does the defense suck" and "the sky is falling" never comes up.

what really drives me crazy is that we are continue to suffer from the same mistakes:
- poor special teams (incl akers)
- prevent defense
- carlos as a slot cb
- on 3 and 8 throwing for 6 yards or 7

If Alex didnt get hurt, we woulda had that game in the bag. We finally woke up when our D forced that 3 n out, and Alex threw the TD to crabs. Right after that is when we pulled him.
Cutler and Alex both will be fine for Monday, enough of the Campbell Kaep b******t.
Alex will go out and do what he usually does, 17/26 163 yards and a TD.
Cutler will do what he usually does (throw picks). Our D will be fired up and it will be a battle all 4 quarters.
17-13 49ers

I think everyone will take a hard look at themselves and have to question if they want to make it to the Superbowl. I hope they come out swinging hard on Monday night and never left up til the Superbowl is over.

maybe giving the team six days off wasn't such a good idea.

- on 3 and 8 throwing for 6 yards or 7 We get too many mistakes on 1st and second downs. Plus Missed wide open Wr's

This is one of those games where you definitely WANT Alex Smith back, fully healthy; Bears defense has had most of its success at the expense of 25+ yard-per-snap passers. -They play a base Tampa-2 incapable of stopping screens, slants, powerful TEs, and agile RBs up the middle.
If we just play 49ers football, we can probably get out of this 13-6.

I doubt very much that Alex will not start. He's a tough dude, and you could tell it was killing him to not be out there. Plus, this may be the most important game of the season. The winner secures the #2 seed in the NFC.

I meant for that week. Obviously every week is different. But if we win Monday, we will be in 2nd and control our own destiny. sorry for confusion
