Cant trade him, as the deadline passed. Just Cut his ass. He will be unemployed the rest of the season and more than likely his career will be over.

More like he's overreacting. You think he'll show up next season and gloat how he gave our draft an F if Jenkins and James are valuable contributors next season? Writing a draft off after one season is extremely premature. Jacobs and James seem like they are very sensitive.

I don't blame Jacobs for being ticked off. He chose to sign with the 49ers and he was probably given some assurances of playing time. In the 49ers stop/start offense there's barely enough carries for Gore and Hunter. There's none left over for Jacobs and James. Now James is a rookie. He'll get his shot down the road like A.J. Jenkins. But when you look at some of bums starting in the backfield for some NFL teams, Jacobs is probably right to feel he made a bad decision signing with the 49ers.

Truth is, it was a bad signing. That could have been another linebacker or pass rusher instead.

Jacobs will be playing in another uniform next season and praying the Niners are on the schedule of whatever team he goes to.

Why is he not being played at all?

The 9ers have the #1 rushing offense in the league. They are doing very well with Gore and Hunter. At this moment, they do not need Brandon Jacobs to carry the football.
