Only now , your run more argument holds no water. Gore gave you 130 yards and AS punches it in once and throws for 140 yds. Is that the balance you were talking about we need to see more of ? or did AS just have a bad game ? These things happen right ? It is a team sport, but only one man touches the football more than the rest , gets paid more than rest and is expected to lead the rest . No , it's not the center . It's your man, AS. Or is it????? Lol its almost sad that you are trying to blame Alex Smith's poor play on his backup that was in on 1 play and didn't throw a pass. Alex Smith marched us into the end zone? Not really, we didn't start moving the ball until we went back to our ground game. Alex Smith has thrown 4 picks, 1 td and 300 yards in his last two games in which the team scored a combined 16 points. How bad does he have to play for you to admit that he's not playing well?

3rd and short to 3rd and 7 is a good distance. it also throws alex off rhythm. Theres zero reason to put Kaep in the game for that play PERIOD. alex drove the ball all the way down field so what makes anyone think he couldnt have got it in on 3rd and short? In fact, what makes anyone think Kaep can? alex is a much better QB than Kaep is.

Anyone else laugh/notice when Aldon and Justin Smith didn't want those crappy gifts from Mooch and Irvin?

To sum it up in a run on jumbled mess.... looked ok in 1st half... down 6 to 3 at half... 2nd half we dominated the run game and were opening up huge holes, gore had multiple 20-30 yard runs and some on the same drive i believe.. alex started to pass a little better...defense played pretty well.. lynch was a beast, hard to stop... seattle's dbs got away with some holds, missed face mask call against alex that would have kept a drive going and maybe got a td... missed some holds against justin and ray... ginn looked great, tony montana squad ws much better... akers helped by kicking it out of the end zone/deep a few times... alex missed a wide open moss in the back of the end zone and threw a pick when he eventually seen him as someone stepped in front of moss. we brought in kap the play before (only time during the game) and he kept it on the option and got hit really hard. goldson had a pick on a long bomb... gave up 2 sacks, got 2 sacks... pass d did well 193 yards given up passing 9/23 with int for russell but they dropped like 5 balls that would have changed the entire game. hard hitting brutal game, a lot of jawing... like 275 yards rushing, 340 passing between the teams so it was heavy heavy running... manningham was out with a shoulder injury, jacobs activated but didn't play

He didn't play well. Agreed. Still doesn't mean he sucks ass, needs to die, or is just a s**tty mediocre qb. He's 19-6 in the last two seasons and is the starting quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers.
