The zone desires someone new to hate on. Alex bashing is getting too stale, let's put Kap under center and watch him stare down WRs, then overthrow 'em by a mile.Even worse that Alexs' signature overthrows. And when that gets old, we'll run a 2 QB system with J.J and Tolzien taking turns screwing the pooch...
1. A. Smith
2. C. Kaepernick
3. ?? maybe bring back Carr! cause ST and JJ are equally as worthless

Apparently, you learnt nothing from the experience. For the record:
You weren't almost put on a time out. I commented on a post of yours in-thread. You, unlike either of the above posters, clearly took exception to other posters opinions.
Calling the mods here goderators is childish. This place is moderated lightly. Anyway, if you don't like it, no one forces you to stay.

IMO Both Kaep and Tolzien have earned roster spots. I will admit that Johnson looked decent the last game, But IMO he is what he is, a journeyman QB with very little upside from where he is today.I personally didnt like what he showed in Tampa either, so i my be a bit biased, but i would rather keep our two young kids.
Kaep has done nothing to lose his backup role. I love Tolzien, But Kaep has the higher upside, and regardless of what some have said, he has progressed tremendously from where he was hen we drafted him. He still needs a year or two though to get a bit more comfortable in the pocket. Its a great position to be in to have two young promising QB's to develop, and a starting QB who is 27 and has been through the wringer and back, and is still raising his game.

The longer this QB depth chart decision strings out, the more I think that regardless of how many people think Tolzien has shined the brightest, he's still behind JJ on the depth chart. With JJ and Harbaugh's relationship being so strong, I look for a decision to be made pretty quick if indeed JH is going to release JJ.
Out of respect for their relationship, I see JH doing it in time for JJ to see if he can latch onto another team before the season starts and the final rosters are set for every team, instead of holding him here till the final 53 is set. If JJ isn't the answer at either 2 or 3, IMO the decision will be made within the next week or so which also means that the longer JJ is here, the more I think Tolzien may be odd man out.Tolzien can take that spot away from JJ, but its gonna need to be more than just showing some good leadership and poise against a bunch of undrafted rookies/practice squad eligibles.

Slow release or not, I just want him to be able to put the ball where and when it needs to be to make game winning plays. I just have not seen enough of him this season to accurately judge his progress fully and even then I am not Jim Harbaugh. It is rather noticeable that he is still a bit raw but also he is scoring points against stiffer competition than tolzien or johnson. Tolzien seems a bit more polished but he has an obvious ceiling that his talent level seems to dictate. Johnson, I think has all the tools but he needs more time in this offense to play better from the neck up.

Re-watched the Houston game. He had a few moments, but he also had a beautiful pass to Moss, in which was inexcusably dropped. That easily could have been a TD.
Overall, he looks like a 2nd string project QB with potential to be very good. So IDK what all the sh*t talking is about.
Looking forward to Sunday's game, hopefully he takes a few more steps forward.

+1.
I think this is a very under acknowledged point in this QB depth chart discussion and IMO I think JH and his staff are aware of this as well. Tolzien will have to continue to look better and better with every game he's in in order to get that 3rd spot. If JJ has any success/comfort in the next 3 weeks, it's his job to lose unless Tolzien snatches the spotlight from JJ and CK for the next 3 weeks, which I think Tolzien is capable of doing.
