Your kidding me right Oakland?? Dude, if we won two Super Bowls with Moss he'd be on par with Jerry Rice and you know damn well everyone would buy his jersey.

Oh no?? Check all the records Moss broke, all he needs is a SB win or two and he'd pretty much be right there.

I get it, Rice is the best All-Time....excuse me for saying another player such as Moss who no doubt is a HOF'er is on par with Rice.
Moss hasn't even sniffed Rice's biggest records and to compare the two is a joke. One worked his ass off, never quit, became the greatest player of all-time. The other is great but his attitude got in the way and even if he wins 2 superbowls he'll still be behind Rice in the category too.

all that's being said is that if moss didn't act like an a*s and won some SB's... he could have been better.

i dont have any evidence to support what im gonna say or a link but i remember something about jerry rice saying he was always frustrated with moss cause he had so much more natural talent than rice had and that if he had his work ethic he could of easily been the best of all the time. which if some people on here would stop being biased they would realize that moss has prolly more natural athletic talent than any WR to ever play the game. im not saying he is better than rice at all but if he would of worked like rice did .. i think he had the potential to be. at this point in his career no i dont believe he can pass up rice but early in his career he had a chance.

i remember reading about rice saying the same thing about Taylor...... or maybe you're thinking Taylor..... or both.

but ya. the point is moot since it's too late for Moss to pass Jerry.

Well he is naturally a freak of an athlete but I would say megatron might be the guy with the most natural physical talent. Remember hearing somewhere that the target area where he can make a catch is like the side of a small barn.

you are correct

"It was hard for me to swallow because I was not as talented and I had to work harder," Rice said. "To see a guy with that much talent not give it 100 percent, it was almost like a little slap in the face. But Randy was Randy." [...]

"He could have been one of the greatest if he had worked just a little bit harder. [...] I don't think he wanted to give it 100 percent. You never knew what you were going to get with Randy. Sometimes you'd get the unbelievable guy, the amazing guy. Other times you'd get the guy that took a couple plays off."

Maybe he has changed and the locker room will motivate him to give 100%.

If potential was the measuring stick for greatness, there would be a lot of guys better than Rice. But its not...
