Again, where is the number 9 coming from? He's not even the starter, and like someone said above, he does a lot of other things a number 2 TE don't. Shouldn't we feel fortunate that we have a backup that could possible start on some other teams? I am.
I dont understand your question. What do you mean where is the number 9 coming from? There are a ton of credible media outlets and statisticians that have published that number. 9 drops and 21 catches? Dude is dropping passes at a higher rate than any player in the NFL.
And if you feel fortunate that he could possibly start on other teams (although I dont agree), then fine. Thats your prerogative. But he isnt very good, #2 or not.
