Our receiving corps needs a big guy who plays like a TE, they already have a big guy who plays like Jerry Rice! They need one of those jump ball guys in the RZ now that no one can touch the receiver before the pass arrives.

dwayne bowe is only 6'2 according to nfl.com so if we are trying to find a truly TALL receiver we're better off going thru the draft

Having tall receivers doesn't equate success. Look at the Chargers with their core of receivers between 6'4" (Nanee) and 6'6" (Vince Jackson) and with Antonio Gates at 6'5". They also have a probowl QB.
And where are they? They're all at home watching the playoffs.

That has been discussed a lot over in the Draft Room. I would be shocked if the 49ers do not draft that guy in the first round if the value rating is at all close. I wouldn't even be too surprised to see them move up if the price isn't too high.

they have a potent offense with no D. We have a great D with a solid offense. Another tall weapon will only help us

VD would rip that dudes face off, graham is not a monster, hes just tall with great hands, he was a basketball player, hes more finesse, vd is a monster. wr is more of a need, bowe or colston would be great, maybe even wayne. we will see

Oh hey, we have a guy on our team who is huge and a massive target. You might know who he is. He's 6'3 250lbs, where's #85. Strongest TE in the Nfl fastest TE in NFL history. He exploded onto the world seen in the playoffs yesterday. Setting an NFL record for most receiving yards in the post season by a TE. And he clearly out performed Jeremy Graham. And caught the game winning TD. I believe the guys name is Vernon Davis!!!

Everyone needs football players like Jimmy. But We have much bigger weaknesses than TE especially if we keep Walker.
