Destiny awaits.

the wild card game against GB was after the 1998 season (when the team finished 12-4)

Help those reading along, including myself- because you make it sound like I missed the obvious- connect your explanation to your original "denied" post.

That's just nuts. Anyone who requests a name change for this play is DENIED.

All I'm implying is that stat is the nail in the coffin to make that play worthy of being called a "Catch."

Not sure what you want from me. There has been a discussion of what that play should be called aside from "catch III" like "the grab," "the thrown 'n catch." I just feel that it being 3rd and 3 on top of all the other things ends that discussion, because it's way too similar to the other two catches.

Pointing out my sig and saying I'm not worthy to write what I did just comes off as a huge WTF to me.

Actually the "huge WTF" was your original post, but you fail to see that. The tongue-in-cheek dig at your sig should be light-hearted after-thought...

Regardless, , blunt, we got a game Sunday.

Ok, then I'm sorry, I should have read into it better.

Whatever, niners are FINALLY back the NFC championship game, and life couldn't get better!
The young and smith one also left the opponents 3 seconds left and were only 1 second apart before those touchdowns. 9 seconds for smith and 8 seconds for young. And the play was identical just reversed!!

uh oh lol

yeah. my bad. i think someone reported that wrong.
To me, The Catch II was always marred by the Rice's non-call fumble. I absolutely love the end result, but it keeps nagging in my mind that the Packers got robbed on that game.
