But like selling their tickets to Steelers fans and Cowboys fans they just don't care. Love the team but the local fan base is not that great. Not saying this to insult any individual. Just the overall fan base is not that supportive compared to say Green Bay for example. You could go 1 - 15 in Green Bay and sell out every single game. And they won't sell their tickets in large groups to opposing fans even if losing. They are just better fans.

Nobody from any where goes to GB to live...Metropolitan cities have diverse fans from everywhere because they are melting pots

lol, too early. That stuff happens after winning the Superbowl.

And yes it's too early . Baseball playoffs can last up to three weeks if they get past the first round...for football it's one week and if you lose one game that's it.

Yeah - maybe not after the Superbowl, but usually after winning the championship game things get crazy.

yes, if nothing is up on light poles between the NFCC and SB ...then its time to raise hell

It makes you wonder why would you pay for a psl or for season tickets. I can go on stubhub and buy whatever game I want, including play off games. The play off tickets aren't outrageously over asking price. If you wait until Friday or Satruday AM prices go way down.

I was already reading some of the Saints forum and they are talking of already buying tickets on stubhub....

There are about 4,000 tickets available on StubHub. Even if the Saints fans bought every single one of them, you wouldn't be able to hear a peep from them. Candlestick is going to be rocking like the days of old, BOOK IT.
i would buy a ticket but i promised my grandpa that I'll watch the game with him.

You can't buy tickets from the 49ers at all. That's why Jed said the tickets are sold out.

Stubhub is the middle man for someone who bought tickets already and wants to sell them for whatever reason.
Man I wish SF would give the same support San Jose gives the Sharks when they're in the playoffs. During the playoffs every streetlight in downtown has a picture of a player, and they turn San Pedro Square into San Jose Sharks Square where they have jersey banners of every player. Also each business downtown has a This Is Sharks Playoff Territory sign on their windows.

Hit it right on the money. Most season tix fans live out of state n only come to games like this weekend. Real sad.
still think the city doesnt support the 49ers?

Thats because theres nothing else to do in Green Bay. It snows and you hunt. Other than that there isn't much. The west coast is different. People have lives and aren't obsessed with sports. Or if they do enjoy following sports, they have a bit more balance in their lives. You can be a "good" fan while still having other interests. Plus what makes the bay so great is that you do have a diverse group of people. Not everyone looks the same or has the same interests.

That doesn't make it great.

Maybe from your standpoint but we welcome that mentality here..
