GM's know they are going to need to give up the pick or stay with it and choose OL

Don't want to risk anything serious (like how Morgan got hurt in garbage time). Besides, our backups are better then the Rams.

I don't need Adam to say teams will give up the farm for luck. Anyone who has a morsel of common sense knows teams will be offering the farm to whoever winds up with the first overall pick. Probably at the very least 3 1st rounders and 2 2nd rounders. And with good reason. The guy will make your team a contender for 15+ years. I mean look at the Colts. They got Peyton and won at least 75% of their games for 7 years in a row not including 2 10 win seasons and a 13 win season right near that streak.

BTW, as it stands, the Rams shouldn't be that bad, they just got RIDICULOUSLY snakebitten by the injury bug this year. Both starting tackles, a starting guard, that Amendola dude who's outstanding in the slot, a bunch of other wide receivers and corners have all been on IR and Bradford's been hurt a bunch too. If they were even a little bit healthy this year they likely would have won at least 7 or so games like they did last year. So if they get the king's ransom that they'd get from a team looking to draft Luck, they will really be on the up and up in the years to come. I just don't wanna see that...

I'm trying to understand the Falcon's motivation to win on Monday night. If they win one of last 2, they may be tied with Dallas or NYG for the last wilcard spot. In that scenario, who wins the tie breaker?

If the Packers lose tomorrow and the #1 seed is up for grabs, then by all means go for the win because there's a reason to win. This was working under the assumption that the 2 seed is locked, can't go up or down. But like I said, I think there's about as low a chance as humanly possible for Chicago to win tomorrow.
I know but its still out there......

Good ol Falcons losing by 18, looks like we have to win next week.
Although the thought of tanking just to piss of Kroenke and the Rams potential #1 pick crossed my mind

If they beat the Saints in two weeks then that will help us out. Well they didn't help us out tonight so I guess we can't count on it. Boring match up for whatever network gets that if the Falcons stay in the 6 seed.
