I'd take Patrick Willis over Megatron.
I'd take Suh over Willis and Megatron though.

Is it, though? More important than QB, OT, pass rusher, CB, and DT?
Just look at all the drafts. There is a reason guys like Willis and Ray Lewis slide. Every year it's all about which QB or OT or DL or skill position playmaker will come off the board first.

I just got a Patrick Willis Jersey, but to be honest I'd go with Megatron. Bowman is looking like a beast, and even though our defense wouldn't be as good, our offense would be that much better with Megatron and VD and even Crabs.

Megatron is a one trick pony

Megatron is nothing but a micro-machine without a good QB. Willis is a beast all on his own. Speaking of which, our Defense will be responsible, yet again, for injuring one or two of their players. I am crossing my fingers it is Matthew Glass-body Stafford. Wouldn't it be epic to have a Smith vs Hill showdown for old times sake?

Man, Megatron would have been a better nickname for Willis. Just can't imagine a WR being associated with Megatron unless he was literally ruthless and knocking DB's heads.

In all honesty I'd take Megatron but If I had my pick of any WR in the NFL I would go with Andre Johnson over CJ.

Willis - no question. A great MLB/ILB is like the QB of the defense. He is a leader and playmaker all rolled into one. Great LBs also tend have greater longevity than WRs. A good defense can scheme around a great WR and take him out of the game. You can double him, you can pressure the QB, you can play ball-control and keep him off the field, etc. It is much harder to take away a great MLB because of his impact on the defense overall.

Despite his insane numbers this year, you could argue that Andre Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald is better than Megatron. You could even argue, based on numbers, that Wes Welker is better. And there's another handful of guys like Dwayne Bowe or Steve Smith that are putting up crazy numbers, or who have great talent comparable to Calvin Johnson.
The only player that you could argue is better at his position than Willis is Ray Lewis, a sure-fire, first ballot Hall of Famer. And even that, right now, is debatable.
Give me Willis, he is a rarer talent.
(I'm not sure on the last one; did Steve Smith run low 4.3s back in the day?)
yeah, but can you list 5 other ILB's who belong in the conversation with Willis?
You can argue that back in his college days, Zak Keasey was the equivalent of 5 ILB's.

I love willis but I've gotta go with Megatron. I'm sure willis stops a decent amount of game changing runs from sneaking through and those short inside routes rarely get any extra yardage, but we've got depth at linebacker and I feel like if we had bowman+TKO(since we could have kept him if we needed him) in the middle we'd still have a pretty good defense against the run.
Then you consider the possibilities for mismatches with an athlete like Vernon Davis on one side, Megatron on the other, and crabtree for the short/possession routes and you've got yourself a big talented backfield that can catch pretty much anything. I guess I'm just saying that the receiver position is a way bigger need for our team right now and most of our defense's game changing plays are not coming from willis.

If we consider Willis and Megatron the best at their respective positions, the separation between Megatron and the rest of the NFL WRs is greater than Willis and other top LBs.
