How come Sing played Chilo for years and Harbaugh figured it out within a few weeks?

when i told this black guy i work with about how Sing hired his nephew as a special LB coach, and some other friend of his as a "pass rushing specialist", he said "yeah, thats totally a black person thing to do."

not going there....i dont think talent evaluation or coaching decisions have anything to do with skin tone. Look at Seifert, look at Erickson, Nolan, the Mora family, i could on and on about retarded f'n coaches who were white, and i'm white, so.......i have nothing else to say in that regard. Sing simply wasnt cut from the cloth of NFL coaches. I mean, look who he sought out when he wished to distinguish his coaching style - Pete mother f**king Rah-Rah Carrol - The man with a dream but no scheme. Mike and Pete are one and the same. Fuk em both

C'mon, that's lame. Shanahan hired his son to be the OC...I guess that's totally a red person thing to do.

You're taking it way too seriously. His friend was obviously joking.

Was he? or was his friend implying that 9ers99 was implying that as the reason for the decisions to hire his nephew and friend as coaches. Could be interpreted either way. Just sayin.
I thought I saw Singletary recruiting Chilo to run his kiosk outside of every 49er stadium to sell crosses

Chilo looks more like a 300 lb Braylon Edwards to me.

Oddly enough Chilo was in the game blocking during Gore's go ahead touchdown.
I don't know that there is anything remarkable about this.

Chilo was drafted high because he had (and still has) loads of potential.

However, he's at the point of his career where he should be reliable and not making the mistakes he's been constantly making.

Singletary and his staff were playing Chilo through his normal developmental path.

Harbaugh may be seeing that Chilo just isn't going to get there and time for other options.

Absolutely not. Even a bad guard should only give up a couple sacks a year and jumping offsides and holding is an indicator that the guy doesn't know his plays, nothing else. He's thinking pre-span rather than reacting. That is because of lack of preparation.
