On Monday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk could miss "a couple of weeks" after suffering a knee injury in Sunday's win over the Denver Broncos.
However, Juszczyk and the 49ers were awaiting MRI results to determine the injury's severity.
Schefter's most recent report says the MRI revealed a knee sprain and bone bruise, and Juszczyk is expected to miss about two to three weeks.

Juszczyk suffered the injury after taking a hit to his knee following a fourth-quarter catch in Sunday's game. The fullback reportedly avoided ligament tears, which might have ended his season.
While the 49ers offense will certainly miss Juszczyk during that stretch, the initial diagnosis is encouraging, given he could have faced a much longer absence. It also means the 49ers likely won't need to consider placing him on injured reserve, a designation generally reserved for players expected to miss at least four games.
Additionally, the 49ers are running low on their available injured reserve returns. NFL teams can activate only eight players from injured reserve during the regular season.
Juszczyk finished Sunday's win over the Broncos with two catches for 28 yards, helping the 49ers improve to 4-0 on the season.
Next up for the 49ers are the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Commanders, and Atlanta Falcons.
