Yeah because this team gave people all the reason in the world to believe that they're a legit playoff contender, going to the wire against a 2 win team.

I'm waiting for all those who feel butt-hurt when the media starts rightfully discounting the team because that performance today was garbage, there wasn't a single segment of the game where this team played well and the offense and the playcalling continue to be abysmal.

At least we didn't lose to them like a certain other team...

fewest points allowed in football. i believe the best average starting position on both sides of the ball. that is a product of not turing the ball over.

The Rams went to the wire with us, but they ACTUALLY BEAT the Saints! The Rams were playing inspired, trying to save their coach's job. They wanted to go out with a bang, and they did. It still wasn't enough to change the outcome of the game. The Niners are going to be much more vigilant and prepared for their next game, be it against New Orleans, Atlanta or Detroit.

both had over 100 yards each and 9 catches
