Does it bother anybody that Steve Young doesn't think LUCK has the it factor? That's all I hear around here. Is there anyones else on the radar?

I didn't listen to Young, but someone posted earlier Young said that about Jake Locker, not Luck.
Has anyone heard what Young said about Luck?

One man's opinion Oakland, that's all. Ask yourself, what does the majority say? I can tell you they don't say what Steve says.

Steve sang his praises said what a great job Harbaugh has done with Andrew Luck and he is the most exciting prospect hes seen in some time. he says he hasnt been excited from a prospect in a while. And that hes NFL ready. looks off defenders throws over the middle etc. I agree Luck looks very good. Anything can happen, but he has the footwork, eye work, size, athleticism that it takes.

And none of us are. Do you see the point? We get an ego boost when someone we admire like Young, sees things the way we do but when his opinion differs we act confused and we don't understand why?
This is a general statement so please don't anyone get butt hurt over this comment. I'm just trying to get people to look at this objectively.

It is man, it's no wonder people call us Fortywhiners.
People have been calling us that since we were a dominant franchise. It just rhymes. The 49ers performance on the field is what's embarrassing. Show me a team with a fan base that doesn't complain about ongoing failure, and I'll show you a team without a fan base.

He says it is already hard enough to win in the league, why not use the tools that makes most of the the teams successful - Saints, Patriots, Eagles, Colts, Falcons - he says all those teams use WCO plays even though they say its their own.

To this day, Belichick insists Bill Walsh: Finding the Winning Edge is the greatest piece of football literature regarding a franchise blueprint ever written. Belichick read the book in the nuclear winter of his own coaching career, between the disaster with the Cleveland Browns and resurrection with the New England Patriots. At a time in his life time when Belichick was forced to re-examine his basic truths about team building, he wrapped his hands around the second of several books by Walsh.
When he was finished, Belichick's philosophical foundation as a coach had once again solidified beneath his feet.
"Saying it was outstanding wouldn't do it justice. For a coach, it's a Bible," Belichick said. "That book reinforced most of what I thought as a coach. I was glad to see Bill write it and say the things he did because a lot of it was either what I was trying to do or what I believed in. Between the book, the clinics, talking to Bill and picking things up from the (San Francisco) 49ers organization, there was certainly a confirmation in my mind that this is the way to do it."

Add another reason to why I want Billick as our next coach...
