Real fans never want this team to lose. Whether it's for the division or for nothing, I want the 49ers to win. Each and every week.

The typical, ignorant mindset of "real" fans; narrow-minded and can't think more than two minutes into the future.

yes, you want your team to only win meaningful games and lose games that can help them in the future. Good for you for having forethought.

Problem is you will never get a team to lose on purpose just to improve draft stock for the future they may or may not be apart of. There is no motivation for these players and coaches to do so. Even if Sing was going to be back next year, losing gets you nothing but fired. Good players can be had anywhere in the draft, you don't need top picks to get them.
here's a valid question: of the convincing win today where backups were played, were there anyone on the squad we got a chance to have a better look at going into next season? thus imo the reason to continue winning at this stage and all i'm concerned with.

Versus d****** fans like you

Hmmm, sounds like a personal attack to me.

Hmmm, sounds like instigating to me.

A personal attack can be considered instigating, yes.

You said "ignorant fans"..and he said "d******d fans"

How is one different from another? Neither is directed at the person..describing fans in general.

You're just instigating and trying to stir the pot.

I didn't direct my comment towards anyone, that's the difference. General vs. direct.

I gave an opinion. How people respond to it is out of my control.

you are, for obvious reasons, not real fans of the San Francisco 49ers. no real fan would ever wish for their team to lose.....no matter what the circumstances.

i hope you find these links useful.

Oh, stop whining Mr "Real Fan" lol. What a joke. Your blind support of the Yorks and Sing is going to cause even more long term damage to our beloved franchise. That is undeniable, because it's already, and will continue to happen with your support.

You really need to consider the damage your causing us. Rooting for Sing's return is something you and all the "real" fans will later regret.
Winning now is pointless. We need a franchise QB and Luck looks to be pretty solid. Winning the NFC West would hamper this team more than it would help. We'd get whooped in the first playoff game.. Sorry i love my team but I could careless if we won anymore games.

You're talking about losing in general. There is a time and place for everything. They lose now, Sing is gone, Alex is gone, and we can move on to the next. Win now, and delay real wins in the future.

You know what's going to happen next week? We're going to go into San Diego and lose badly. Every single person on here that is riding the high off this win will come back down to Earth and will, once again, be calling for heads and talking about how much we suck. You know where the real fans were? Right here, predicting the future.

i support the San Francisco 49ers. everything else is out of my hands. the chips will fall where they will fall. you have no control over it and neither do i.

also, nowhere in original post do i say blindly support Sing or the Yorks. i used Sing as an example of the excuses people give to want this team to lose. for the past 30 years, i have proudly supported my favorite team in the NFL through the ups and downs.

like i suggested, if you are tired of supporting this team i have included a couple useful links.

only negative attitudes are damaging.

I want Luck but I doubt we'll get him. Clausen is so bad I see Carolina taking him with the first pick if he comes out. We'd have to trade a lot to get him. Not sure if Jed is willing to do so.

ah yes, i fogot your the omniscient niner god. I do understand the lose now-win later POV because it makes the most logical sense, but I'll be happy with a win when it comes. The schizophrenic fans will change their opinions thursday when we probably will lose, but I don't think singeltary will be around next year even if we make it to the playoffs. He's shown he can't improve the team and run it properly.
