Vital Information for the 49er "Fans" who...

Only someone who is complete moron and utter tool would root for their team to lose.

That's like rooting for another country to attack and start a war with us because you don't like the current president.

In other words, ridiculous.

Watching them lose is always painful and I hope for the best every game. Having said that, I understand why fans want us to lose. It's something you learn in Business Management class and it's called discounting the future, which is when you do what's best for the business now, but will hurt it greatly in the future (see 1994 Free Agent spending spree). Most fans know that if we do make the playoffs and Sing is retained, it's anohter 5 years of 6-8 win seasons, while we watch the Rams dominate the division.

I really want to see the Niners make the playoffs, i'm tired of having nothing to look forward to after week 17, even though i'm 99.9% sure the first round game (probably against the Saints) will be a blowout. Our final record will be 8-9 (or 7-10) and i think the Yorks will fire Sing anyway, hell they fired Mooch after a 10 win season and a playoff loss in the second round to the Super Bowl champs. So I hope they'll fire Sing and get a real offesive mind in here, because we're wasting talent.

Yeah. I hate Alex Smith, but I never wanted him to fail. He just happened to fail.
Even now, I hate Smith, but i'll root for em to help the NINERS win.
I just lets things run their course and after this year, it is evident that Smith and Sing are out of here.
