Yes we stunk it up, no doubt, but a lot of momentum, motivation and focus is lost when you have some BS call.
IMO the Alex TD at the pylon should have stood as called. The Vincent Jackson TD at the pylon was good, but not Alex's?
The Justin Smith incident was weird. Big loss anyway you slice it.
The unnecessary roughness call on Tarell Brown when he hit the receiver on the sideline?????
The most BS call all night was the Ted Ginn TD called back. I mean even Matt Millen said he didn't think officials look at every thing, especially since Ginn was so close to the sideline some one was paying extra attention to Norris while engaged?
I mean it happened so fast he might grabbed the facemask but he let it go so quick.
Momentum killed instantly.
Yeah I thought some of those calls were bad, but just some.
But that's what happens with losing teams and mediocre players. Not to mention a HC that's barking down one of your refs. Of course they're going to call it that way

I agree with many of this but then again, you won't get these calls when you are a 5-win team and playing in someone else's home. Hell, we don't get calls like this in our own home. LOL

Someone pleasetell me how the f**k Tarell Brown is supposed to stop in his tracks after he started his attempt at the tackle when the f**king player was still in bounds.
Please.
That was 10 times worse than Mannys unnessrough penalty earlier in the year, and I didn't think that was possible

That pretty much sums it up. Niners should have hired a WCO head coach a long time ago and there would have been a lot more creativity in the play calling and game plans. Need to have an offensive minded head coach. They should never have let Greg Manusky get away.
I saw this at work but was unable to post.
For everyone completely confused by this statement I think he meant to say McCarthy get away...not Manusky.
McCarthy was our first OC under Nolan and is the successful coach at GB now. Manusky is the bum DC I hope we replace.

I thought it was the most bone-headed action a captain and veteran could do. You don't touch officials-- period... and it cost us!
Agree, Tarell Brown was BS. He was in the field of play... what the hell is he supposed to to??

LOL. I really hate that argument/taunt as it tends to show that this team has nothing going for it within recent memory. Cowboy fans tend to do it too.

THIS.
People that also say Superbowl or bust are also living in the past.
Niners are a bad football team. It takes time to rebuild a franchise. People who say that they won't be happy if the Niners make the playoffs are dumb because every little improvement counts.
