Good eye. You should be a walk on and starting QB for the niners next year.

The question is, Whenever there is an open WR down the field, how much time does the QB (whoever is in) get to throw the ball?
After a short or middle pass has been thrown the corners and safeties let up on the long routes and at the end it seems the WR was wide open.

Losing to Carolina was the signpost for this team. This is a bad poorly coached team with ownership that was gifted a franchise. Are we members of the Bengals, Lions, Bills, fraternity now?

The o-line sucks just as equally but Smith holds on to the ball way too long and he is the most unaccurate short passer I've ever seen
the irony is they call him Cpt. Checkdown. but half the time he messes those up for INTs like vs. the Saints.

~ We can't move the ball on offense.
~ We can't stop anybody on defense.
~ We get penalties on special teams which brings back huge plays.
~ We have players who don't use their head and get ejected.
~ We are the least prepared and least disciplined team in the league.
Wow you can really see it in person. I can kind of tell on TV. But in person gives you a different story. And we just flat out SUCK! Nowhere more so than coaching. Our preparation, poise and using our head is the worst in the league. The look like they don't practice or use their head at all. This team is worse than 5 - 9. I can't believe they won 5 times. I mean we are just horrible.
Well look at the lack of discipline and wheree it starts. You look to the idiot coach and threw a tantrum on the sideline and KIICKED the challenge flag, OMG. THAT WAS SO IMMATURE. You can't expect anything more/ from the players when you see that instability with the HC. I wished he would've gotten penalized for that because that's the exact meaning of unsportsmanlike. I hope he gets fined for it, dumbass

FML, I want the 49 hrs of my life back. That's the number of hours I've invested in watching this putrid team this Season. I'm gonna go back and watch the SNF Pre-Season Game.. Actually just the hit P-52 had on Favre.

This is why Alex Smith needs to get out of SF! dude cannot anticipate his receivers getting open.

Seems to me this was a "total team effort", as the players like to say. OL, QB, DL, Secondary. Dropped passes, dropped interceptions, penalties on a return for a TD and on and on.
We play incredibly stupid football. Stupid coaches; stupid players.

I left 3 minutes before the 3rd quarter ended bro,let me tell you what I saw.
-smith is "gun shy" and never takes shots downfield.
-pass rush is non existent
-secondary?
-smith had some easy 10+ runs but seems like he hesitates to much
-charger fans are rowdy lol
also did you guys notice when the offense was on the sideline it seems like they were never together?i always so smith by himself, dudes no leader.ive been a simpletary/smith supporter since the beginning, but this embarrassing loss was the last straw. cant wait to clean house and get a real head coach..like they always say there is always next year and i cant wait. lets just finish on a positive note 7-9 (5-1 division) and get a QB and coach next year
cant believe i drove from el paso,tx to see that ass whooping! lmao
Clean House.... Please bring me a priest so i can exercise the demons! Start with alex, sing, Racheal, Harlson Franklin can walk also his job is to occupy blockers and if willis isn't clean he's not doing his job. Bring in a coach with a offensive mind set!!!!
keep justin smith, willis and spikes, lawson, goldson... Let taylor mays get playing time over reggie smith. Get goldson a new contract he's just the only guy in the secondary and he's doing to much.
Draft a new Cb, Passrusher to get harlson off the team he's a scrub. And a new QB groom him right. a guy not afraid to take a shot down field. DON"T RUN GORE INTO THE GROUND!
you are so right. Reggie Smith os a non factor. Play Mays period
also try and man coverage. This coaching staff stinks

Delanie Walker's drop really killed me. Ahmad Brooks failed on two key ints. Clements looked clueless as usual. Morgan got away with that ridiculous fumble. Poor playcalling all around time to clean house!!

He was about #20 in the line of reasons why they 49ers lost tonight. They were just outplayed and outcoached by a much better team. Smith had no chance against the Charger defense. They covered everything and gave him very little time to throw.
#20? Wow

Yep... we just needed SOMEBODY to make a play when the game was still in reach. But nope... total team meltdown and we were completely out-coached on offense and defense.
I'm still drunk from last night, and no, not gonna stop through the morning either.
