John Madden, Joe Gibbs I am sure there are more but I would have to look at the HOF lists. Madden had Stabler, Gibbs had Theisman and Rypien

He won a Super Bowl with Doug Williams as well. I actually think Stabler probably belongs in the Hall. He was one of the best QBs in the NFL throughout the 70s.

Singletary REFUSED to say NO when asked if the Yahoo article had any truth in it. He could have end the whole confusion with a simple NO. But he couldn't do it.

anybody else feel like Sing has lost the team? Too many disappointing games, too many rants to the media, too many times throwing players under the bus...

coach singletary has successfully motivated the ownership and senior management to accept his vision of how football ought to be played. ie no finesse stuff, all smash mouth stuff and why winning is meaningless unless you win it by playing his way.

Quite sure that he can motivate the players too.

this team is going into complete meltdown if the saints blow us out. Im hoping we just keep it close, but no way we beat new orleans, sean payton must be laughing hard right now, sing is just feeding them bulletin board material. Sing put this pressure on the team, his stubborness will get the best of him, this aint the 80s anymore sing, don't tell me show me, live by your own slogan for a change.

Then again, there is just so much a head coach can do when you got a QB like Alexis smith.
